The club is fortunate to have the services of a number of highly respected and talented coaches, four of which are professional coaches.

The lead coach is Professor Jonathan Katz who coaches all three weapons.
He is the British Fencing Association's sports psychologist. Jon is also the sports psychologist to the British Paralympic Team and Welsh Commonwealth team, former Coach to the Northern Ireland Commonwealth Fencing team, and a member of the GB fencing team for the World Masters and Maccabiah Games.

The second weekly professional coach is Maitre Peter Wright.
A leading sabreur, Peter runs the North London Sabre Club. He is also a World Masters bronze medallist. He competed for England at the 5 Nations championships, and is the former team manager of the England junior Quad Team. He was voted Bedford Sports personality Coach of the Year 2005.

Quentin Berriman attends 2 - 3 times a month to share his expertise in epee.
Quentin is the former British National Epee Champion and British number 1 ranked epeeist. He has competed at World, European and Commonwealth Championships, and has trained and competed in France. He holds BAF coaching qualifications.

Coach Mike Niles attends 2 - 3 times a month to instruct the club's foilists.
Mike is a former national level fencer, and the former Bedfordshire County Master-at-Arms, Sabre and Foil champion. He has BAF and BFA coaching qualifications.
